Me, Blogger and Multiply

If blogging is considered as writing an online journal, then I’ve started years ago since I knew how to build a webpage using HTML. Thanks to geocities :) It was on geocities.com/heartland/ranch/some_number_i_couldnt_remember :P Then i made several sites again at bravenet and some other free webhosting providers. Due to my tight schedule @the office, I have no much time to play with web designing for my own self. Then on 2004 I continued blogging using blogger.com.

Well, blogger.com (kidy.blogspot.com) actually provide me more than enough to do simple blogging. It has a dashboard which is easy to navigate, archives, I can change the layout, BloggerAPI. I also joined multiply (nuykidy.multiply.com), which is also offering me a blog service. What I felt as disadvantages using Blogger.com (and Multiply) were space. I have to put all my files, images, scripts, css for my layout somewhere else out of the blogger.com. It could be tricked acutally for images, but still it didn’s satisfy me. Furthermore when I started developing a modul that enable me to submit a post via SMS & MMS (using BloggerAPI and later change to AtomAPI).

SMS Scam

I got this &*%@! SMS on my cellphone today.

And this *&T@)) idiot put "Pengirim: +777" in the last line of the message. What the ….. *sigh*

So, be carefull with these numbers:

Sender +6281331505231, from provider Telkomsel

0899-3333-442, 0899-3333-441 are from Hutchison CP Telecom/Three

If any of you, your family or friends got this kind of SMS, just forget it. It’s a scam. Usually operators will contact you by phone, formal letter, and put announcement on local/national newspaper + their website. If you’re still not sure, contact the official callcenter. And the callcenter numbers are not cellphone number.

Selamat jalan, Bapak Pembangunan

Minggu, 27 Januari 2008 jam 13.10 WIB, mantan presiden ke-2 RI, Soeharto, meninggal dunia. Sebagai warga negara, saya turut mengucapkan bela sungkawa. Dibawah pimpinannya, Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara yang cukup powerful dan dikenal di Asia. Terutama dengan pertanian, salah satu contohnya ketika petani Indonesia menyumbang gabah/beras untuk para petani afrika. Dan saya bangga, bangsa ini dikenal akan kontribusinya itu.

For good and bad, dibalik kecermelangan dan kontroversi gelap selama masa kepemimpinannya, saya yakin mereka yang menjadi musuh, menjadi teman, menjadi kritikus, menjadi pendukung, yang puas, yang kecewa, yang lega, yang geram, yang menjadi kroni (apalagi ini), tidak akan bisa ingkar dan mengelak atas prestasi The Smiling General ini untuk pembangunan negara dan penciptaan citra positif Indonesia di mata dunia.

Saya bukan pendukung, pemuja, pengidola, loyalis-nya almarhum, saya hanya warga negara biasa yang cuma mampu mengucapkan terima kasih atas segala achievement dan turut berduka lewat tulisan di blog ini semata. Semoga semua amalnya diterima, dan selebihnya adalah urusan almarhum dengan penciptanya.

Semoga negara ini segera diberi hidayah dan berkah denga diberi pemimpin dan keluarganya yang shiddiq – amanah – tabligh dan fathonah, supaya bisa mengangkat citra bangsa yang kini terpuruk jadi bahan tertawa kembali disegani dan punya wibawa.
