Finally I switched to RCTI. There’s a talk show with title Jalinan Kasih, hosted by Dewi Hughes. The guests at the moment were 3 little girl, around 9-11 years old, telling about their stories. Actually they had same story. Those girls spend their days on the street being pengamen. They sing among the vehicles at the red light. Hoping for compassion, generosity of the drivers.Wished they could get at least Rp. 500,- after they sung from a car to another. They use the money to pay the school fee, buy books….

Back to 15 years ago, I was like them. Selling newspaper at age 11-12 years old. So, I know exactly how they feel. But here in Jakarta, the most cruel city in Indonesia, they’ve been living through harder and worse days than I did before.

And then there’s a phone call from a lady. She asked one of the guest, Yuli (same name with my sister) about her leg.
Is it hurt when she walk ?

Of course it is hurt at the beginning, that was i thought before i knew the real meaning of the question. I used to walk couple kilometers when I was at SD and SMP (elementary school & junior high). One of my hobbies is camping at the mountain, it’s also walking :) Yes, your leg will feel tired and sometimes could be hurt when you’re not weareing proper shoes (eg. wearing tenis shoes when you’re going camping/hiking is stupid).

But that’s not the question the lady asked.Hughes looked down to Yuli’s left leg, tell her that there’s still “wet” wound on her. Then the camera change the angel, focusing on her left leg. I was a lil bit shocked when lookin’ on it.

Masya Allah …. Masya Allah…

She had a very bad wound on her left leg. Right from the knee down to the ancle. I know excatly what cause it. Once when I was selling newspaper in the bust, I got an accident. I fell off when jump ou the bus. I know how to fall safely (thanks to soccer and pencak silat) so it only scratched my right elbow and a minor wound on my knees. But her wound is worse, it’s really bad and need surgery to fix it up. Maybe plastic surgery. Imagine when you fell off the road ummm no no no but slide on the road. Your bare skin which is unprotected and hits directly the road (of course the road is not smooth as silk) and you stop sliding after few meters. Imagine what will happen with your skin, what kind of wound could be made by that…

Masya Allah…

They shouldn’t be at street risking their life. They supposed to be at school studying, playing as a child. But they’ve lost those days. They should earn their own money for school, they must help their parent. And look the Indonesian goverment, politicians, the fucking honourable congressmen. They’re the most perferct liars God ever created. They talk sweet during the campaign, the promise everything during the campaign. And afther that got the power, they forgot ’em all. They only think how to get more money for their own by using their position, being corrupt (being more corrupt). Cheap education ? Come on, there’s nothing cheap for them. Many school building have collapsed but what’s their bussiness with that? Nothing, there’s no money. I bet the education minister nor his assistants knew nothing about Mulyono from Kediri before people from lowest level tell them that the boy has won the Biology Championship at Australia. Better health infrastructure ? Bullshit, the health minister didn’t know anything about Buyat before it’s exposed on the news. Sports? The President didn’t show up when the olympic team and athletes are going to the Athens. She could give them more spirit from the number one person of this republic by showing up, give a little speech before they took off to Athens. I bet she only busy with the next president election.

This is Indonesia….. Top list of most corrupt goverment in Asia…
I agree with death penalty for corruptors like in China and also for the narkoba (drugs) dealer
